I promised the kids ice cream if they finish their dinner. Everyone was determined to eat all fo their mac n cheese, chicken and green peas. I looked over at Malcolm and saw him gaggin and trying to choke down his peas. What's a Mommy to do??? Grab her camera! I thought that these were hilarious. Makes you feel for the guy huh?

More at the Beach

At the Beach

Every year Malik's teacher invites her whole class out to her beach house on an island about 2hrs away. The kiddos love ferry rides adn had a blast. The tide was really low so there was lots of beach treasures to be found. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day.

Deer in the Park

We woke up this Memorial Day morning to 2 deer in the park next to our house. Grabbed my camera to get a few snaps.

Savannah Angel

Here is a favorite that i took of Savannah before a client arrived.

Concert 2

First Grade Concert

Malcolm and Malik had their end of year first grade concert. It was so cute! Here is Malik making sure that we were all in the audience and ready to cheer them on!

Baby Birds

My neighbor went out of town and when she came back she went to water her big hanging flower basket on her porch. When she took it down she found a birdsnest with 4 new baby birds. All of the neigborhood children gathered around to watch them. They are truly amazing! My other neighbor let me use his 50mm 2.4 macro lens to capture this shot.

Quinton Preschool Concert

At the end of the year Quinton's school has a "Songfest" where all of the kids get all dressed up and performs for the parents! Nothing cuter than a bunch of preschoolers attempting to sing and do hand motions! We don't think that Quinton realized that there was a concert going on around him because he barely looked up!

Quinton and Savannah reading.

I happened on a quiet moment where Quinton and Savannah are reading on the couch. The light was just so yummy here and I just couldn't resist!

Riding off into the sunset.

Savannah practiced and practiced. Once she got on that bike she literally didn't get off all day. A neighbor even brought out popsicles for all fo the kids and instead of getting off and eating on the porch like everyone else, Savannah sat on her bike and ate hers.

Darren and I meet at the gym once a week to take the children swimming. When it was time to go I literally had to take her off of the bike kicking and screaming!

After all of that practicing, Savannah was very confident in her new found Big Girl Bike Riding Skills. By the end of the evening she was riding off into the sunset!
Happy Mother's Day!

Big Brothers to the Rescue!

Whenever Savannah ran into the curb or stopped and couldn't start up again on her own, she screamed "Help me! Help me!".

In a seconds time 3 Little Superheroes AKA Big Brothers came running to give Little Sis a push. In no time at all she was off and rolling again!

Bumps in the road

Every now and then Savannah would steer wrong and wind up bumping into the curb. This really frustrated her! In the two year old mind, doing anything for more than 15minutes should make you a Pro right???

Determination

This little girl was very determined to learn to ride her bike like her Big Brothers. Notice her tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth. Now if that isn't a sign of determination I don't know what is! Her Big Brothers were as excited as she was to see Little Sis ride a bike!

Apprehension

When Savannah first got on the bike, after rolling it around for an hour or so she was very apprehensive. She kept sayin "I'm gonna fall Mommy!" Even after we reassured her that her training wheels were in tact and ready to act she still had a worried look on her face.

Savannah's New Wheels

Savannah has been rockin her tricycle for the last month or so. She really caught on quickly and zooms all around the neighborhood on it.

As the story goes with large families, she was using a hand me down (Malcolm's first tricycle). Again as the story goes with large families... I was out Garage Saling (yes that's an activity where we live), and I ran across a 100%, Super Duper, Ultra Pink, Girly Girl, Barbie bike with all of the bells and whistles literally!

After talking the original owner down $5 I paid and packed it up to surprise my little girl! I was so curious to see how she would react.

A Few More

The Fishers at the Zoo

This past weekend we took advantage of a gorgeous day here in Seattle and went to the Woodland Park Zoo. The children all had a blast and we had to convince the zookeepers that they belong to us and had not escaped from an exhibit. Notice Malik sporting his "Front Tooth Missing": grin. Savannah again has eluded me and left me with pictures of the back of her head. Hopefully this is just a stage!

2 Scoops!

After the game we hit the local Baskin Robbins for ice cream. Here are the boys telling Daddy how many scoops they want! The boys are really enjoying these weekly games and love having Darren out on the field as assistant coach.

End of Game One

We ended the game with a team chant and showed our sportsmanship by high fiving the opposing team.

Opening Day of Tball

With 3 Boys It was bound to happen!

Malcolom and Malik started Tball this Spring. They have a great time playing but seem to enjoy the after-game snack the most. They don't quite understand all of the rules yet but they are getting better and better! Go Giants. Yes being from Cleveland that pained me to write that. Here are some shots from their first game.

Welcome!

I already have a business BLog set up decided that I should set up a personal one so that friends and family can keep up with what the Fisher Family is up to.
